With abundant sloughs and small lakes, along with acres of farm fields, ducks and geese are easy for us to find. Our lodge is close to our hunting grounds. Most hunts are within 20 minutes of the lodge. Whether you are hunting ducks or geese, our team works hard to create an unforgettable, world-class adventure that leaves seasoned hunters returning year after year.

Reg Quaale

A lifelong hunter, Reg has been hunting and outfitting for waterfowl, deer, and bear for over 20 years. Reg is born and raised around the village of Hagen, Saskatchewan. He is a former farmer and built lifelong relationships with the owners and farmers. While he is retiring from the business side of outfitting, he is still actively involved in the day-to-day at Big Bend. Reg can often be found anywhere from the field to the kitchen!

Randy Miller

Randy is an active trapper and bird hunter, and a retired National Park warden. When he isn’t guiding for Big Bend, he is out hunting geese with friends and family. Randy is an excellent teacher, passing on his knowledge to new and novice hunters. He teaches the essentials of waterfowl hunting to maximize their odds of successful hunts.

Adam Dyck

Adam is the new owner of Big Bend, after purchasing the business from his father-in-law Reg in 2021. Adam was a late-comer to the world of waterfowl hunting, after Reg took him out hunting for the first time several years ago. His enjoyment of duck and goose hunting is what drew him to the outfitting industry, and eventually to buying the business and becoming a guide himself.
