A 12-gauge shotgun is the most commonly used firearm for duck hunting. Shotguns offer the perfect range, power, and accuracy to bring down ducks at distances we are hunting.
If you prefer not to bring your own shotgun, we use Winchester SX4 automatic shotguns to rent. We carry shotgun ammunition, normally 3-inch BB and #2 shells. Ammunition can be purchased at the lodge, with no mark-ups.
Our guides can answer questions about shotguns and ammunition, ensuring you are equipped for success.
We have a partnership with Nature’s Food Bank, local non-profit that works with outfitters to distribute harvested wild game to people in need. Hunters and guides share the work of cleaning and packaging harvested birds, which are picked up by the Food Bank every week.
